Can you actually ‘learn’ how to be clairvoyant? To a certain extent, you certainly can. If you want to understand what’s meant by this, let’s clarify, first, what is meant by ‘clairvoyance,’ and what is meant when we say that you can ‘learn’ how to be clairvoyant.
Some may be confused because clairvoyance often comes with several different meanings. Most people will define clairvoyance under the umbrella of a number of common paranormal skills such as remote viewing, precognition, or psychic visions. These are all abilities that share commonalities with clairvoyance but clairvoyance can be more aptly described in simpler terms. Namely, it is the ability to learn information about a particular person, place, or entity without using the established five senses. Instead, a sixth sense takes over and delivers the acquired insight.
while it is true some people possess extraordinary clairvoyant abilities, such as the ability to see, hear, feel, smell, or even taste something from a great distance and they may even possess knowledge about something in the past or future, they might lack the insight into how these things truly work. Science itself has not truly been able to clarify or document these abilities. Yes, there are many suspected explanations put forward by no one belief has emerged as a dominant one. In fact, some of the popular definitions and explanation put forth are contradictory. If there was one common denominator among all explanations it would be that some people are just born that way.
Is it possible for everyone to learn remote viewing or develop the ability to see into the future? No, but it is possible for everyone to develop a talent at developing a sixth sense.
To a certain degree, everyone has the sixth sense of clairvoyance. Most often, they know it as a gut feeling or intuition. These feelings are not easy to explain to others. Some examples include hearing someone say, ‘I feel we can trust this person’, or ‘This does not feel right to me.’ However, many people ignore their instincts and follow their emotions or their logic.
To a certain degree, science also acknowledges that hunches and instincts, and their validity, exists. However, what differs is that scientists don’t think there’s anything paranormal, supernatural, or psychic about this ability. For example, psychologists say that the phenomenon is caused by your subconscious mind picking up on little signals, hints and details that you and your conscious mind simply ignore because you’re too busy. However, your subconscious mind does actually see these things, and translates them into emotions that can help guide you with your proverbial ‘hunches’ and ‘instincts.’ So in order to develop a sixth sense, you have to learn how to trust and use your subconscious mind.
Whether your sixth sense is based in paranormal psychic ability or brain neurochemistry is not what is important. The main issue here is clairvoyance exists and all people possess a certain degree of it. And it is possible for them to hone their clairvoyance skill. The following are the three ways to do this:
1. Better Your Perceptions
Most people go through life so vigilantly focused on the task they have in front of them that they literally ignore everything else that goes on around them. Yet there are so many tiny details hidden in the events around us — actually, in plain sight — and these are what our subconscious minds pick up on. These need to be paid attention to in order to develop instincts and hunches that are going to help you. You can learn to sharpen your perception, become aware of the world around you and of the details therein, which will allow you to feel your subconscious mind and therefore develop your clairvoyant sixth sense.
However, it does take practice. You can do some things to increase your perception. First, you must slow down and try to relax. Calm yourself and then move more slowly during your daily activities. Secondly, remove any distractions that fill your senses. For instance, turn off the radio while driving your car. With nothing to stimulate your thoughts and senses, you become more aware of your world, the neighborhood, the weather and even that car moving into your blind spot while driving.
Finally, you can learn how to do so-called ‘mini meditations.’ With a mini meditation, you close your eyes, take a deep breath, and force yourself to relax. When you open your eyes again, you’ll be surprised at how much more aware you are of your surroundings. This will just take a few seconds, but you’ll be surprised at the difference you feel.
2. Meditate
Always seek to meditate at least 30 minutes a day. The purpose of such meditation is to open and clear the mind. This way, the subconscious will rise to the surface and communicate more clearly with the conscious mind. This way, a refreshed and relaxed state will yield better cognitive powers.
It is true mediation is easier said than done. Sitting down and thinking of nothing is not as simple as some assume but with concentrated power. Using distractions are two ways to overcome such problems and two of the most popular forms of distractions are focus and mantra.
While trying to meditate, your senses may distract you, such as the things you hear and feel. Rather than trying to shut your senses down, give them something to do. A candle flame makes an excellent focus and keeps your mind occupied by watching the flickering flame.
A second thing to note is that because your conscious mind never shuts down and you’re always thinking about something, you need to occupy your mind with something, which is why a mantra and a flickering candle, for example, are so important. A mantra can be a favorite word, a song lyric, a prayer, anything — just as long as you know it by heart and can repeat it over and over and over again without a lot of thought. For example, many Catholics pray the rosary as they meditate. However, anything will work as long as you’re comfortable with it and you know it well enough that you can simply repeated over and over and over again.
3. Your Instincts Are the Key
Without a doubt, it is the ability to trust your instincts that is the most important element. That is why it is important to never doubt yourself or your abilities. Don’t tell yourself there is no logical reason to what you do. Pay attention to your subconscious mind as it may pick up on something you had not noticed before.
Again, this is going to be difficult at first, but will become easier the more you listen to and trust your instincts. As you do, you’ll learn to gain trust in them, your sixth sense of clairvoyance will grow stronger, and it will become something you depend on.
