Trance And How To Be A Gifted Clairvoyant
The term clairvoyance is a paranormal term which originated in the French language. Clair means clear in French, voyance means vision and voyant is a visionary. And clairvoyance is clear vision and a clairvoyant is an individual is clear visionary. However, the literal meaning is neither truly accurate nor helpful.
Complicating the definition further is the title 'clairvoyant' and has been used as a reference to other things in the years past. The word clairvoyant was gradually developed to apply to an individual who exhibited a number of psychic or paranormal abilities. The only total encompassing definition that truly fits is that a clairvoyant is an individual who has the ability, outside of the five senses, to know things about an object, event, person or a location. And refers to a form of (ESP) extra-sensory perception.
Clairvoyance involves, usually, a clairvoyant. A clairvoyant has the ability of knowing about what is happening at the moment, but that is far away from their physical senses. There are documented cases of clairvoyants viewing events that happen either in the future or in the past. It has been considered that clairvoyance is a form of prophecy or precognition because of this ability.
The means by which the clairvoyant learns this hidden information varies and in general can be broken down into a category of six. The most associated with the first type is clairvoyance and that is the remote viewing phenomenon. A clairvoyant views objects, people, places and events, which are hidden with remote viewing. It can sometimes be a viaual hallucination and at others it is when the clairvoyant views from their minds eye.
Clairaudience refers to the clairvoyant receiving knowledge in the form of sound. They will hear sounds and voices which only they (and only they) can hear.
The third form or type is called clairsentience. With clairsentience an individual gains their knowledge with feeling and touch. This may include the feeling an object that are not present. This is more of a feeling or 'vibe' that a clairvoyant gets from events, locations or people that are out of the clairvoyants visual view.
The fourth is clairalience and in this form the person receives knowledge from a remote place or event through a sense of smell. An example would be should they smell flowers or grass in a meadow or the tang of blood or gunpowder. No one else could detect these smells and there would be no available source for the variety of scents the clairvoyant is picking up.
The fifth form is called clairgustance and in this case an individual who has not eaten or drank anything can taste different flavors with no apparent source. They can also describe the taste of these things at a distance from where they are.
The final and sixth sense of clairvoyance is the form of Claircognizance and it is also the most difficult to explain and define. An individuals ability with this form is to have the knowledge of a person, place, object or event at a distance, but they cannot explain how they have this knowledge. They just do. The catch-all category of clairvoyance is, to some extent, considered to be Claircognizance.
Clairvoyance is known around the world and is something which figures into every one of the world’s cultures. It is also something which makes up a part of many major religions.
For example, in Buddhism, clairvoyance is considered to give humans the capability to reach advanced levels of meditation. And the ability to feel vibrations sent out by other people.
More than five hundred years ago, a disciple of Saint Francis named Saint Clair, had a vision where she witnessed the death of Saint Francis even though she was many miles away at the time. The Catholic Church, interestingly enough, had made Saint Clair the patron saint of television. Literally translated television means seeing over a distance.
However, no one has been able to definitely prove the non-existence of clairvoyance and the evidence in favor of its existence is mounting. Overall, the public is becoming more accepting of the idea that clairvoyance is a real phenomenon.
No matter what the skeptics say or do not believe, no one has been able disprove clairvoyance. The increasing evidence of the existence of many genuine clairvoyants worldwide has opened the minds of many. Scientists, parapsychologists and even the general public are ready to accept clairvoyance as real.
