Transmitting Your Thoughts To Become Clairvoyant
The term clairvoyance is a paranormal term which originated in the French language. Clair means clear in French, voyance means vision and voyant is a visionary. And clairvoyance is clear vision and a clairvoyant is an individual is clear visionary. However, the literal meaning is neither truly accurate nor helpful.
To further complicate the definition, clairvoyant has been used in reference to a variety of things over the years. The term clairvoyant applies to an individual who has exhibited abilities in a range of psychic or paranormal talents and has emerged gradually over the years. An all-encompassing meaning which truly fits is that a clairvoyant is an individual who has the ability to know places, people, events and objects by other means other than the five physical senses and refers to a form of extra-sensory perception (ESP).
Usually, however, clairvoyance involves an individual that knows of something happening at the moment. But happening a distance outside of the physical senses. There is, however, documentation of cases of clairvoyants having knowledge of an event taking place either in the past or the future. In view of this clairvoyance is considered a form of prophecy or precognition.
The means by which a clairvoyant learns this information varies, but as a general rule can be broken down into one of six forms or types. It is clairvoyance that is most associated with this first type or form, the remote viewing phenomenon. The clairvoyant, in remote viewing, sees an object, location, event or person hidden from them. Sometimes this is in the form of visual hallucination, other times the clairvoyant viewing something using their minds eye.
Clairaudience is another means by which the clairvoyant may receive information. As the name suggests, in this case this is in the form of sound which they and no one else can hear. Some clairvoyants may even hear the voices of people who are dead; these cases are more properly termed mediumship.
Clairsentience (also known as psychometry) involves knowledge in the form of tactile sensations. The clairvoyant may feel objects which are not there or a generalized physical sensation which may be related to another place, event or person.
Clairalience is the fourth type or form. This form, clairalience, involves the sense of smell of the clairvoyant. The knowledge, for example, of the individual (clairvoyant) is gained through the smell of flowers and grass of a meadow, the ordor of blood and gunpowder. An it is unlikely anyone else near them can detect these smells and there is no source for these various scents.
Clairgustance is the fifth form or type of clairvoyance. In this form an individual can taste the different flavors, despite the fact there is no apparent sauce and since they have not eaten anything. They are able to describe the flavor that they are tasting even though they are a distance from any source.
The final and sixth sense of clairvoyance is the form of Claircognizance and it is also the most difficult to explain and define. An individuals ability with this form is to have the knowledge of a person, place, object or event at a distance, but they cannot explain how they have this knowledge. They just do. The catch-all category of clairvoyance is, to some extent, considered to be Claircognizance.
The occurrences of individuals who are clairvoyant have been documented throughout history, by different cultures worldwide. Clairvoyance has been accepted into some of the worlds most widespread religions.
In Buddhism, for instance is it believed that clairvoyance is capable for humans to achieve in an advanced level of meditation. It is referenced to the ability to feel vibrations projected by others.
More than five hundred years ago, a disciple of Saint Francis named Saint Clair, had a vision where she witnessed the death of Saint Francis even though she was many miles away at the time. The Catholic Church, interestingly enough, had made Saint Clair the patron saint of television. Literally translated television means seeing over a distance.
Many, of course, are skeptical of clairvoyance, but it is a part of human nature to deny something’s existence because they have no understanding of it. Not long ago, in our earlier history there were skeptical scientist who had even denied the existence of electricity and magnetism.
No matter what the skeptics say or do not believe, no one has been able disprove clairvoyance. The increasing evidence of the existence of many genuine clairvoyants worldwide has opened the minds of many. Scientists, parapsychologists and even the general public are ready to accept clairvoyance as real.
