Using Your Mind And Know How To Become Clairvoyant

The paranormal term of clairvoyance originated in the French language. Clair means clear in French, voyance means vision and a voyant is a visionary. And clairvoyance is clear vision and a clairvoyant is an individual who is a clear visionary. The literal translation, however, is not accurate and is not helpful.

Clairvoyant has been used to describe people in terms of different phenomena over the years. It has now come to be used as a generally term describing anyone who exhibits psychic abilities. This is an overly broad definition, but generally speaking when this word is used it refers to someone who is able to sense and know things without perceiving them with the five senses of the physical body. You could refer to clairvoyance as ESP.

Usually clairvoyance involves an individual who has the knowledge of a situation that happens at the moment, but at a distance, out of the range of that individuals physical senses. Cases of individuals (clairvoyants) have been documented with these individuals knowing of situations that have happened in the past or in the future. Some consider clairvoyance to be a form of prophecy or of precognition.

The means by which the clairvoyant learns this hidden information varies and in general can be broken down into a category of six. The most associated with the first type is clairvoyance and that is the remote viewing phenomenon. A clairvoyant views objects, people, places and events, which are hidden with remote viewing. It can sometimes be a viaual hallucination and at others it is when the clairvoyant views from their minds eye.

The second form is called clairaudience. In this form the clairvoyant receives information by way of remote event from sound. The individual may hear noises or voices other people and recording equipment does not or cannot hear. Some times the clairvoyant might hear voices of the dead. In this case the phenomenon crosses the line into a medium form.

Clairsentience is analogous to our sense of touch. Also called psychometry, clairsentience refers to information which comes as tactile extrasensory input. The clairvoyant may feel vibrations from people, places, events and things or even be able to feel objects which cannot be perceived by anyone else present.

Clairalience is the fourth type or form. This form, clairalience, involves the sense of smell of the clairvoyant. The knowledge, for example, of the individual (clairvoyant) is gained through the smell of flowers and grass of a meadow, the ordor of blood and gunpowder. An it is unlikely anyone else near them can detect these smells and there is no source for these various scents.

Clairgustance refers to information in the form of taste. The clairvoyant may taste flavors which come from no apparent source and taste things from a distance.

Finally the sixth type or form of clairvoyance is Claircognizance. The most difficult to explain or define. With this type of clairvoyance the individual knows information about an event, object, place or person at a remote distance and can’t explain how they know this information. They just know it. This category is a catch-all for clairvoyance.

The occurrences of individuals who are clairvoyant have been documented throughout history, by different cultures worldwide. Clairvoyance has been accepted into some of the worlds most widespread religions.

Clairvoyance, in Buddhism for instances, is considered to permit humans capable to achieve advanced levels of meditation. However, in this case, the clairvoyant feels the vibrations of others.

Clairvoyance also makes appearances in Christian and Islamic literature, with the visions being considered to be divinely inspired miracles. St. Clare described a vision of St. Francis’ death, though she was many miles distant. The Catholic Church later named St. Clare as the patron saint of TV (which happens to literally mean 'seeing at a distance'). As with other psychic phenomena, there are many skeptics about clairvoyance. Skepticism is natural; it’s hard to believe in something without seeing it in action. After all, even magnetism was once thought to be non-existent.

However, no one has been able to definitely prove the non-existence of clairvoyance and the evidence in favor of its existence is mounting. Overall, the public is becoming more accepting of the idea that clairvoyance is a real phenomenon.

We might not quite understand how it works, but this doesn’t mean that clairvoyance should be discounted. Many believe that with the proper training and effort, anyone can develop clairvoyance and other psychic abilities.
